Minneapolis, Minn.  (Feb. 25, 2009)  Midwest Medical Insurance Company (MMIC) recently announced the promotion of Jeff Pearson to assistant vice president of underwriting, effective March 1, 2009.  

Pearson joined MMIC as senior underwriting manager in 2003.   He has worked in the insurance industry for more for 21 years.  Pearson began his career as an underwriter in the Global Health Care Division at St. Paul Companies in 1988. While at St. Paul, he held several leadership positions in underwriting and business development.

Pearson earned a bachelor of science degree in finance from St. Cloud State University and he holds the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter designation.
