Physician Litigation Support

Physicians faced with malpractice litigation can turn to the Physician Litigation Support Program (PLSP) for information and support. PLSP is a volunteer support network composed of physicians who have faced similar problems in their professional lives and are trained to provide emotional support to colleagues involved in litigation. During confidential yet informal discussions, physicians have the opportunity to talk about the range of emotional responses relating to malpractice lawsuits. Physician Litigation Support Services also provides informational material about coping strategies.
