HOURS: Full time - 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, flex time available
RESPONSIBILITIES: We are seeking a Health IT Sales Manager, to provide direction to the MMIC Health IT sales organization. The Health IT Sales Manager will be responsible for promoting a customer focus and insuring the effective execution of MMIC’s sales methodology. The Health IT Sales Manager will have responsibility for leading and managing the Health IT Sales team, including recruitment, performance management, training and development, and motivation. Promotes an ownership spirit among team members. Manages the Health IT sales budget and client proposal process. Assists in development of the MMIC Health IT sales and marketing plans and projections. Remains informed and knowledgeable of all MMIC Health IT products and services and stays current regarding industry trends. Promotes a culture of information gathering to support the acquisition of competitive intelligence. Plays an integral role in understanding the current Health IT market and identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion. Contributes to the cross marketing of products and services. Approximately 25-50% travel, some overnight. This is a work at home (telecommuting) position..
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in business, marketing, healthcare management or related industry preferred. Five or more years of health information technology sales experience required, preferably in physician practices. At least two years experience managing a sales force. Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills. Strong technology/ automation skills and ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office software and various company databases. Able to work independently with a sense of urgency. Able to communicate effectively and persuasively both orally and in writing including phone and in-person contact. Effective and persuasive marketing and sales skills. Ability to quickly establish credibility and rapport; ability to work with a variety of personalities and styles. High degree of integrity and professionalism.
Strong decision making skills. Self-motivated with ability to perform in a fast-paced environment. Model stewardship in the communities we serve. A positive, can-do attitude and ownership spirit with ability to have fun, while all the time meeting the needs of the business are necessary traits for this individual to be successful in this role.
