MMIC contributes to the communities in which we live and work through employee volunteerism and through our annual contribution drive, an effort by our employee-led GIVE (Gifts Initiated Via Employees) committee.
We are proud of our local roots and thrilled to be able to stand behind our commitment to community well-being by giving back whenever we can.
MMIC’s annual contribution drive provides a way for us to stand behind the causes most important to our employees — charities in which they are directly involved or from which they have personally benefited.
Since 1998, MMIC has donated more than $1 million to support employee-nominated organizations that are making a difference for people of all ages in the communities we serve.

Community giving reimbursement
Each MMIC employee may use a portion of company funds for an act of community giving of his or her choice each year. Through this employee benefit, MMIC has provided new books for school classrooms, art supplies for at-risk children, a new bedroom for a child with a terminal illness, sandwiches for homeless families — and much more.
At MMIC, we live out the values we promote through community volunteerism. Throughout the year, team members pause from their busy schedules to contribute their talents, time and money to community organizations throughout our region, like Lee National Denim Day, Cheerful Givers and Spare Key. And during the holiday season, we double our efforts, collecting clothing, toys and food for local families in need.
